If you need to verify a user’s working pattern, you can review their layer array and match it to the corresponding work layer configuration.

📌 Note: You need HR Admin permissions to view user work layers.

Check the user’s layer array

  1. Click HR Admin, then click Users.

  2. Click Change user work layers.

  3. Find the user, then review the Layer Array.

🤓 Tip: The highest number in the array is usually the most recent work pattern, but all layer IDs may still apply.

Identify the work pattern

  1. Open a new tab.

  2. Click HR Admin, then click View or create your own custom work layers (or View default work layers).

  3. Search for each layer ID.

Understand work pattern formats

Daily patterns

  • Format example: 11,11,00,00,00,00,00

  • Each pair represents a day (AM and PM).

  • 1 = non-working

  • 0 = working

Hourly patterns

  • Format example: 150,150,0,0,0,0,165,165

  • Each value represents minutes worked in half a day.

Understand start dates

  • Each pattern begins on its configured start date.

  • The first value in the pattern aligns with the day of the week of that date.

Example:

  • A pattern starting on a Friday begins with Friday’s values.

Confirm the pattern

After reviewing:

  • Check the pattern matches the user’s expected schedule.

  • Confirm the correct layer ID is applied in their layer array.
