If you need to override the standard request and approval process, you can use HR access to edit a user’s calendar directly. This allows you to add, update, approve, or remove absences.
📌 Note: You need HR Manager permissions to enable HR access and edit calendars.
Enable HR access and edit a calendar
Click Home, then select the user in View Calendar for.
Click the padlock icon to enable HR access.
Click View.
Make your changes, then click Save.
Make changes to absences
With HR access enabled, you can:
Click an approved absence to remove it.
Click a requested absence to approve it.
Click an empty day to add an absence.
Use the options at the top of the page to:
Select the absence type.
Toggle between full days and half days.
Fix error when editing absences
You may see this error:
“There is already some kind of activity booked in the span you want to change…”
This usually happens when:
You try to edit a half-day absence in full-day mode.
To fix this:
Switch to half-day mode.
Edit the affected days separately.
Use older interface option
If you use an older version of Access TeamSeer:
Select the checkbox next to the key icon instead of unlocking a padlock.
