You may not be able to delete a sickness absence if it doesn’t have a category assigned. This usually happens when the unplanned absence module is enabled and the category wasn’t set correctly.
📌 Note: You’ll need HR Admin permissions to fix uncategorised absences.
Assign a category to an absence
Click HR Admin, then click Utilities.
Click Fix Uncategorized Absences.
Search for the user, then in the Actions column, click Edit.
Select the appropriate category, then click Save.
Confirm the fix
After assigning the category:
Go to the user’s calendar.
Locate the sickness absence.
Delete the absence as required.
📌 Note: Absences must have a valid category before you can edit or delete them.
