You can’t undo a rollover once it has been completed. If incorrect settings were applied (for example, carryover capped at zero), you must manually review and restore allowance values.

📌 Note: You need HR Admin permissions to review rollover data and update allowances.

Retrieve rollover data

If you didn’t save the rollover report, you can recover the data from the archive.

  1. Click HR Admin, then click Auditing.

  2. Click Rollover Archive History.

  3. Sort by Business Year End Date to find the relevant year.

This shows:

  • Original allowance values.

  • Carryover amounts.

  • Adjustments made during rollover.

Restore carryover values

  1. Click HR Admin, then click Allowances and start dates.

  2. Find each user.

  3. Update Prior Year Holiday Rollover using the archive data.

  4. Click Save regularly.

📌 Note: Update users carefully to avoid overwriting correct values.

Update carryover expiry dates

If carryover expired incorrectly:

  1. Click HR Admin, then click Allowances and start dates.

  2. Update Holiday Rollover Date.

  3. Click Save.

To update in bulk:

  1. Select the first date.

  2. Hold Shift, then select the last row.

  3. Enter the new date.

  4. Click Save.

📌 Tip: Set the expiry date to the business year end date if carryover shouldn’t expire.

Understand key limitations

  • You can’t reverse a rollover automatically.

  • You must manually restore values from the archive.

  • Changes should be made carefully to maintain accuracy.

Prevent issues in future

  • Always review the rollover report before confirming.

  • Save a copy of the report for reference.

  • Double-check caps and expiry settings before running rollover.
