If users can’t add LTE on weekends, the absence type is likely restricted by its activity mask. You need to update this setting to allow booking on non-working days.
📌 Note: You need HR Admin permissions to update absence type settings.
Update the activity mask
Click HR Admin, then click Setup.
Click Types.
Select Lieu Time Earned.
Find Activity Mask.
Choose the correct value:
1: Book on working days only
2: Book on non-working days only
3: Book on any day
Press Enter, then click Save.
Choose the correct setting
Use 3 (Book any day) to allow LTE on weekends and weekdays.
Use 2 (Non-working days only) if LTE should only be recorded outside normal working days.
Confirm the fix
After updating:
Try booking LTE on a weekend date.
Confirm the system allows the entry.
Understand the cause
Absence types are restricted based on activity mask rules.
If set to working days only, weekends and bank holidays won’t be selectable.
