Calendar feeds allow you to subscribe to absence data without creating events directly in your calendar. Instead, the feed appears as a separate calendar that you can overlay alongside your existing calendar.
You don’t need IT configuration once calendar feeds are enabled.
Enable calendar feeds
Calendar feeds must be enabled on your account before use.
If you already use TSOS:
Raise a support case to enable calendar feeds and remove TSOS.
If your account has no calendar sync set up:
Initial setup must be completed by a consultant.
Contact your account manager to arrange this.
Once enabled, the Calendar Sync section will appear in My Admin for all users.
Copy a calendar feed link
To copy a calendar feed link, follow the steps below.
Click My Admin, then click Calendar Sync.
Click Copy link for the calendar you want to subscribe to.
Add a calendar feed in Microsoft 365
Go to your Microsoft 365 calendar, then click Import calendar.
Paste the calendar link into Link to the calendar.
Enter a name for the calendar, then click Import.
Add a calendar feed in Outlook
These steps apply to Outlook 2016. Options may vary in other versions.
Open your Outlook calendar.
Click Open calendar, then click From Internet.
Paste the calendar link, then click OK.
Add a calendar feed in Google Calendar
Go to your Google Calendar.
Click Other calendars, then click From URL.
Paste the calendar link, then click Add calendar.
Understand how calendar feeds work
Calendar feeds don’t create events in your calendar.
They appear as a separate, subscribed calendar.
You can overlay them with your existing calendar.
You can choose which groups or users to follow.
Scheduling assistant limitations
The scheduling assistant isn’t available with calendar feeds.
