If you want to remind users to book or use their remaining holiday, the system automatically sends booking reminder emails at set points in the year.
📌 Note: You can’t customise the content or timing of booking reminder emails.
How booking reminders work
The system sends reminder emails:
6 months before the end of the holiday year.
3 months before the end of the holiday year.
1 month before the end of the holiday year.
These reminders help users track and use their remaining entitlement.
What users receive
Employees receive:
A reminder showing how much holiday they have left to use.
Line managers also receive:
A summary of remaining leave for their direct reports.
Understand limitations
You can’t:
Change the timing of reminder emails.
Customise the wording of the emails.
Create additional automated reminder schedules within the system.
Consider alternative approaches
If you need different reminders or reporting:
Use standard reports to monitor upcoming leave.
Schedule manual checks or communications with managers.
